It was the early 1980s when the nursery division of Earth & Wood was created. As we have always been located in Western Montana's Bitterroot Valley we have been forced to accept the fact that we are a long way from major nurseries in the Northwest. Most of our growers are located in Northern Idaho, Washington, and Oregon and the need to have top quality nursery stock on hand for our landscaping clients was imperative. Nineteen years later we proudly present what we believe is the best nursery facility in the area. With over 24 acres at our Bitterroot Valley location, we house some of the finest quality nursery products in Western Montana. We are especially proud of the tremendous selection of large caliper shade trees, spruce and pines.

Our Missoula location is a smaller version of the same fine quality products. We bring fresh nursery stock to the facility 3 times each week, and will make special deliveries whenever necessary. We know our customers demand top quality trees and shrubs at fair prices. The educated nursery stock customer realizes why good nurseries stay in business year after year and continues to patronize both of our locations.

With the huge growth by the mass merchandisers into our industry, it is important for nurseries like ours to stay focused on the real reason we are in business, which is to provide healthy, hardy nursery products to our customers at prices they can afford.
